Hello

Ever since I was a little kid I've had a love for dogs. In the winter I would often sit outside with my Eskimo Spitz, Sparky and my mom would have to beg me to come inside from the cold. I recall many dogs running around the neighborhood and I would always try and find their homes. If I couldn't, I would bring them home, to which my mom replied: "No! You can't keep it!"

As I grew older, so did my love for dogs. I knew that I wanted to do something more than just care for my own. After hard work, dedication, and a lot of doubt, I asked myself if I could do this, and I knew the answer was yes. At that moment, Shelby's Shaperone's was established.

Shelby's Shaperones is dedicated in loving memory to my Jack Russell, Shelby, who passed away from cancer. She was my soulmate, my person, and my very best friend. When she died, my heart was shattered into a million pieces. I knew I wanted to honor her by starting Shelby's Shaperones to help care for dogs and give paw-rents peace of mind, while knowing that they are in the next best care possible (other than their paw-rents). I am certified in pet CPR and first aid and safety is my main concern. I am very flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, or if there is anywhere specific you'd like your dog to visit, just let me know.
